Terms of Employment: Temporary, Full Time, Day

Salary: $16.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Skill Requirements:

Education: Not required

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Canadian Welding Bureau Certification

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Major Work Area: New fabrication

Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Industrial

Area of Specialization: Custom fabrication

Welding Techniques: Gas metal arc welding (GMAW) (MIG)

Materials: Stainless steel, Aluminum alloys

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Interpret welding process specifications, Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment

Additional Skills: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles, Welding helmet

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination

Essential Skills: Oral communication, Working with others
