Terms of Employment: Temporary, Full Time, Day

Salary: $20.00 to $25.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Kitchener, Ontario (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Association for Canadian Registered Safety Professionals Certification

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Type of Inspection and Investigation: Workplace

Work Setting: Manufacturing and industrial plant

Specific Skills: Inspect workplaces for safety or health hazards

Security and Safety: Bondable

Transportation/Travel Information: Own vehicle

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles, Ear plugs

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, Attention to detail

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Job task planning and organizing, Computer use

Other Information:Applicants must have a Certified Health and Safety Representative Designation. Canadian Registered Safety Professional designation an asset but not required.
